I know i said i'd never go to another Airshow thingy that Singapore holds.
But this time, i went because Darling boy's a newly sign-on Regular for the Airforce and we thought we'd like to look around at the big machines & stuff he'd be working with in the future.
The Republic of Singapore Airforce Open House 2008
So on August the 31st (the 2nd & last day of the event), we headed over with his family to take a looka. Held at the Paya Lebar Airbase, we had to drive over like friggin farrrrr. And to top it up, the rain had just stopped so the ground was all wet with puddles of water here and there. Mud & grey water flung around from strangers' shoes as they waddled past me. Yuck!
But all in all, this Open House was MUCH BETTER than the Airshow the last time round. I mean, there was lots more to see & experience. The public could go up different aircrafts and fighter planes to take pictures & meet the pilots & crew. There were a lot more booths with very much more interactive activities for the public to participate in. & lets not forget the freebies! I myself bagged home lots of them alike a true-blue Aunty!

Let's hope Darling boy enjoys his vocation in the Airforce!
