Hitching on a Twilight train

Lately, i purchased Stephenie Meyer's 4-book series - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse & Breaking Dawn. It came as a set together with a shelf-like box for it. Had some pictographs come along with the lot, which make good bookmarks in my opinion. Haha i see no other usage for them.

Ze thing about it is i dont really have the time or energy to read when i get home from work. So ive been making little progress in that department. Now im wondering if i made the right choice buying them, seeing i've only gotten 50 pages into Twilight since 3 weeks ago when i happily waltzed into the bookstore and waltzed out carrying them in my arms.

Truthfully, the storyline is not bad. Intriguing and captivating like how most books on the 'dark-side' would be. A whole lot of ppl in my office have caught on to the craze and they've been burning candles and midnight oil reading them into the twilight, literally. Hahas... Maybe it's the eyebags i see on them that cause me to subconsciously block-out the urge to be addicted to it. So when i do read it, i try not to get too engaged and 'into' the story. But that's like missing out on the whole point of reading.

I need to get down to it soon or i foresee it taking me a decade to finish all 4.

To think i had wanted to get the entire Harry Potter series that faithful day, so i could read it once again from 1 to 7. I think it would take me an entire millennium.

I was thinking, what am i gonna do with those loose Potter books i have when i get the matching cover series with the case? Anyone has any idea?
I can't bring myself to throw them away, and if i give them away, who'd want them?
If i leave it on my shelf, it's a bit silly to have 2 of the same books on my shelf.

How now brown cow?
